Worm Gear Slewing Drive
What is worm gear slewing drive?
The worm gear slewing drive is a compact, full-rotation reduction device that integrates worm gear transmission and a slewing bearing. It utilizes a circular slewing ring to increase output torque and enhance the wear resistance of the slewing drive. With its enclosed design, it offers dustproof and corrosion-resistant properties, ensuring stable operation in outdoor environments. Worm gear slewing drives are widely used in applications requiring low speed, high torque, and self-locking capabilities, making them crucial for export-oriented construction machinery, wind power, and photovoltaic industries.
LTZC Worm gear slewing drive features
A worm gear slewing drive is an integrated rotary drive product that uses a worm gear transmission mechanism as its core reduction unit. It integrates a worm gear reducer, slewing bearing, and flange connection structure. Some models are also equipped with accessories such as motors/hydraulic motors, brakes, and encoders. It is widely used in rotary equipment requiring low speed, high torque, and self-locking capabilities. The axes of the worm and worm wheel are typically arranged at a 90° angle in space.
1. High integration: It integrates multiple functions such as rotation, driving, and reduction, resulting in a compact and multi-functional structure. The fully enclosed structure and multiple sealing design effectively resist dust, moisture, and salt spray, making it suitable for photovoltaic tracking systems, engineering equipment, and marine equipment.
2. Strong load-bearing capacity: The slewing bearing primarily handles rotation and heavy loads, and can simultaneously withstand axial force, radial force, and overturning moment.
3. Self-locking performance: When the lead angle of the worm is less than the equivalent friction angle between the meshing tooth surfaces, the device has a self-locking function, meaning that the worm can drive the worm wheel, but the worm wheel cannot drive the worm, providing a safety protection function.
4.Stable Quality, Meets International Standards:
LTZC bearings have over 20 years of experience in bearing and drive R&D. LTZC bearing products undergo rigorous material testing, tooth surface hardness control, and whole-machine inspection, and are supported by ISO and classification society standards to ensure product reliability and consistency.
